Admission to the Postgraduate Program (MSc)
The selection of students is conducted in accordance with the applicable legislation, the Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Regulations of the University of Thessaly (UTh), and the specific Regulations of the respective Postgraduate Program.
Each spring semester, a call for applications for admission to the MSc program is published on this website, the website of the Department of Nursing (UTh), and the University’s main website.
Applications and the required supporting documents must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Department of Nursing during the period specified in the call for applications (PHASE I).
This deadline may be extended by decision of the Coordinating Committee (PHASE II).
Required Documents:
In the case of applicants holding a foreign undergraduate degree, the MSc Secretariat, according to current legislation, checks whether the institution of origin is listed in the National Registry of Recognized Foreign Institutions and whether the degree type is included in the National Registry of Recognized Degree Types, as published on the DOATAP website.
If the foreign degree is included in the DOATAP list per Article 307 of Law 4957/2022, the MSc Secretariat is required to request a Proof of Place of Study, issued and sent by the foreign university.
Applications will be rejected if the place of study is confirmed as within Greek territory unless the studies in Greece were conducted at a public Higher Education Institution, in accordance with Law 3328/2005 (A’ 80).

Based on the overall evaluation criteria, the Department Assembly compiles and approves the final student ranking list. In the event of a tie, all candidates with the same score are accepted.
Admitted students must pay the first installment of tuition fees during the period determined by the decision of the MSc Coordinating Committee and must submit proof of payment to the MSc Secretariat.
Following that, students are registered with the Secretariat of the MSc program “Advanced Nursing Practice”.
In case one or more admitted candidates do not register, alternates from the waiting list will be invited in order of ranking.
Registration for admitted students holding a foreign degree is only finalized upon submission of a certified copy of their diploma (via any legal means).
